The BOOT CAMP for this year has finished. However, you can view all of the videos that cover boot camp materials in the Canvas Cyber Academy Home 2021-2022 course under Assignments.

About the Conneaut Cyber Academy Boot Camp:

The boot camp provides time for cyber students to get acclimated to the Cyber Academy procedures like finding assignments, messaging teachers, obtaining any materials needed for the year, speaking with teachers, and getting the first week worth of work completed. All Conneaut Cyber Academy students have letters being mailed to them and should receive them sometime during the week of 08/23/2021 or shortly thereafter.

Transportation must be provided by the family to and from the boot camp.

2021-2022 Conneaut Cyber Academy Boot Camp dates:

Monday, September 13, 2021 - Tuesday, September 14, 2021 with Thursday, September 16, 2021 being an additional date for students who need the extra time to become acclimated with the program. We will meet from 9:00 am until 3:30 pm at the Alice Shafter Annex, room 201 (check in with the Alice Shafer Annex main office first). The address for the Alice Shafer Annex is:

220 W School Drive

Linesville, PA 16424.

Please go here to RSVP to the boot camp: https://tinyurl.com/ccabootcamp

Please fill out the RSVP form at the link above before 3:00pm on Wednesday, September 8, 2021 so we can plan for your attendance.

What to bring to the boot camp:

If the student still has a Chromebook from the previous school year, they must bring this CHARGED Chromebook ready to be used at the boot camp. If a student has one, they should also bring their own personal cell-phone/smart device. If you don't have a working Chromebook, you must email Troy Messerall, Supervisor of Online Learning and Digital Resources, before 3:00pm on Wednesday, September 8, 2021 using this email address or by calling 814-683-5900 ext. 5270. New 9th graders, middle school students, and students transferring into the district will get a new Chromebook at the boot camp. If you haven't received an Acceptable Use Policy for Chromebook (1:1 Device) use, then please download it here, print it, and bring it with you to the boot camp.

All students should bring the following forms that were mailed with the letter mentioned above. In case you misplaced your forms, here is a copy you can print and complete to bring with you to the boot camp: 2021-2022 Conneaut Cyber Academy Entry Forms.

Parent/guardian attendance to the boot camp is greatly encouraged as this parent/guardian will learn the same things as the student and will be able to assist the student throughout the school year directly from home.
